Homemade Lemonade

Ingredients
- 7 cups water
- 1 ½ cups of fresh squeezed lemon juice (about 10 lemons)
- 1 ¾ cups sugar
- 1 ½ cups of ice
- Lemon wedges for serving
Directions
- Step 1 Make simple syrup. Combine 1 cup of water and 1 ¾ cups of sugar in a pan and heat on low until sugar dissolves. Do not stir. Allow to cool to room temperature.
- Step 2 Combine fresh lemon juice with simple syrup, 6 cups of water, and ice. Stir. Add more water if it’s too sweet. Serve with lemon wedges and/or fresh blueberries, raspberries or strawberries for a twist.
