Then, poke the potatoes with a fork a few times to create small holes across their surfaces. Use oven mitts to remove the hot baking sheet from the oven. If making more potatoes, an additional 15 minutes per potato is needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Step 4:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once cooled, cut the potatoes vertically, scoop out the inside, and save the scooped out half of the insides (for mashed potatoes, etc.).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Step 5:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fluffing up their insides of each scooped out patato, spread butter on the inside. Add cheese, bacon, one egg per potato, salt, and pepper. Top with chives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Step 6:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bake 25 minutes, until the egg white has cooked through. Serve warm with chives. If you wrap the potatoes in foil, the potato skins will shrivel and soften in the oven.
